These Terms apply to bookings and services provided by Freshwater Chiropractic (“we/us”). By booking online or attending an appointment, you agree to these Terms.
Bookings and appointments
Online bookings are subject to availability.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact details so we can confirm and communicate about your appointment.
If you book for another person (e.g., a child), you confirm you have authority to do so and to provide required consents.
Fees and payment
Fees are displayed at the time of booking and/or provided by our team.
Initial appointment fees (current):
Initial – Dr Zoe Braund: $220
Initial – Dr Sarah: $220
(These may change—please check current pricing at booking.)Payment is required on the day unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If payment plans are offered, they are subject to eligibility and written confirmation.
Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows
To protect appointment availability for other patients, we require notice for changes:
Please provide at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel.
Cancellation / deposit clause
Deposits, cancellations & rescheduling (Initial Appointment booked online)
A non-refundable deposit of $80 is required at the time of online booking to secure your appointment. The remaining balance of the appointment fee is payable at the time of your consultation.
Cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice: your $80 deposit will be refunded.
Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment time, or failure to attend (no-show): your $80 deposit will be forfeited and no refund will be provided.
Rescheduling: you may reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your appointment time with no loss of deposit. Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours may be treated as a late cancellation and the deposit may be forfeited.
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within [insert timeframe, e.g., 3–5 business days].
We may waive the late cancellation policy in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
Refunds
Refunds are assessed case-by-case in line with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the ACL. (business.gov.au)
Nature of chiropractic services
Our services include assessment and chiropractic care which may involve physical examination and manual techniques and therapies..
Results vary between individuals. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.
Consent and clinical decision-making
We will explain recommended assessments and care options. You can ask questions and choose whether to proceed.
If at any time we believe chiropractic care is not appropriate, we may refer you to another healthcare provider.
Minors and family appointments
A parent/legal guardian must provide consent for services to a minor (unless otherwise permitted by law).
Telehealth (if you offer it)
Telehealth appointments require a stable internet/phone connection.
Telehealth may not be suitable for all presentations; we may recommend an in-person visit.
Use of website and digital products (eBook)
The eBook and content we provide are general education and not personal medical advice.
Content is owned by us and must not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and handle personal information. By booking, you acknowledge you have read it.
Liability (to the extent permitted by law)
We take reasonable care in providing services.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes non-excludable rights under the ACL.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and will publish the current version on our website. The Terms in force at the time of booking apply.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales.
