A balanced brain allows for the ultimate expression of how that child is supposed to be. The Neurobalance Program is designed to improve integration between the brain hemispheres to allow for whole brain and body balance.

  • Free 15 minute consult to discover if you or your child is a candidate for our Neurobalance Assessment process and program. Discussion will focus on your main challenges and concerns currently affecting social, physical and cognitive activities

  • First we determine if there is a functional disconnection problem and if the primitive reflexes are retained.

  • Next we explain our findings and how this relates to you or your child and the best options for recovery will be presented.

  • With several options available, (in office, intensive, at-home or combination) a suitable program of care will be selected. Just like braces take 12 - 18 months to improve the teeth, building a more balanced brain will take time, perseverance and consistency. We will support you through every step of the process.

  • At the completion of each stage of care, a re-evaluation exam will map your progress and improvements, and offer next phase recommendations.

  • Continued support for ongoing change provided following on from intensive programs, at home programs or in clinic programs to direct your progress.

Initial Assessment

  • This initial assessment offers an opportunity to collect information about yourself or your child, your challenges, gifts and deficiencies. It is comprehensive and thorough and includes the following:

    • A series of online questionnaires

    • Comprehensive history (can be done online)

    • Thorough Chiropractic functional Neurological assessment (in-office)

    • An individualised report outlining any disconnection issues, retained primitive reflexes, vestibular imbalances and vagal system imbalances. These will be explained to you in the Report of Findings visit.

Report Visit

  • The information collected from the initial assessment will be used to create an individualised report outlining any disconnection issues and opportunities for therapy and treatment will be presented.

    Based on your findings and the severity of your childs challenges, the best option for therapy will be presented.

    The brain responds to specific stimulation. The more we drive and stimulate the underactive or disconnected parts of the brain with consistent and progressive sensory input, the bigger the change over time and the more connected and balanced the brain becomes. The Neurobalance Program

  • Our program is based on The melillo Method, and combines aspects of functional neurology, vision therapy, laser therapy and cutting edge digital technology

    There are several options for the Neurobalance program and together with your practitioner you may select the best fit for your child and family.

    The in-office (6-12 weeks) or Intensive program (1 week intensive) is the best way to get the most out of the brain training program. However other options are available. You or your child will participate in a combination of physical and sensory exercises to activate the weaker side of the brain and inhibit primitive reflexes whilst using vibration frequencies, tens units, the brain driver, brain tap, neurosage computer games and coactivation with our Neurosolution lasers.

  • This In-office program usually involves 2 sessions per week for an initial 6 or 12 week period with an ongoing and supported home program of exercises. Reassessments are booked at 6 and 12 week intervals and continuous monitoring occurs throughout.

    The Intensive program usually involves 2 sessions per day for 5 days. This intensive week works wonders to flood the brain with directed energy and we can often see great gains in the weeks following an intensive program. The home exercise program must be continued to see progressive brain changes and build a more balanced brain. Ongoing support is provided.

    The Home Program involves a daily exercise program for 12 weeks with the option of regular but less frequent in-office or online appointments.

  • This coaching course includes education on childhood brain development, primitive reflexes, foundation principles of functional disconnection syndrome, why brain imbalance occurs, how to identify brain imbalance and how to work towards correcting this imbalance.

    We will show you specific exercises and sensory stimulation to support your child with emotional dysregulation , attention, sleep, muscle tone and learning concerns. Biochemical, nutritional and diet recommendations to support brain balance will also be presented.
